Kilim Karst Geoforest Park Langkawi

Set along the northeast tip of Langkawi, Kilim Karst Geoforest Park is fampus for its mangrove swamps, beaches and vertical karstic hills.

If you into nature, there’s variety this place can offer. Numerous wildlife can be spotted here, ranging from otters, monitor lizards to macaques and crabs hiding amongst the mangroves.

Besides, in September to March, which is a migrating season for the birds, you may spotted various species from kingfishers, kite eagle and white-bellied eagle.


Exploring this beautiful landscape is available via boat cruise along Kilim River which will cost between RM200 to RM500 including a well experienced nature guide.

Several limestone formations can be seen here which are estimated aged over 500 million years old. There also numerous caves that are filled with giant fossils as well as gigantic stalagmite and stalactites.
